I'm 200lbs in gear and carry a top box with tools and a rotopax one gallon gas can. I have the shock preload just past half way and it doesn't bottom out like the 250 did.However, both were way too big for me off road. Looking back I can see the DRZ is almost as quick as the 650's and weighs around the same as the 250's. Plus has the same feel and seat height as the 250's.
